Good value for the price

I’ve used this model Cobra for several years. It is great on the highway, with good sensitivity and plenty of detection range to avoid cops. In fact, the only speeding tickets I’ve gotten since buying this unit have been when I forgot to turn it on! In town, it does sound off for automatic doors of shops quite a bit, even in “city” mode. But, for the price, I’ll take this unit any day.


Pros: Easy to install, good price.
Weaknesses: too low in sensitivity.
It works, but its sensitivity is too low. action may be too late when you hear its alert.
I hope it had about 1 mile range to sense the alarm.


Pros: Great value, several bands, and 360° protection.
Weaknesses: Range is OK. Have not checked laser capabilities yet.
I have never had any problems with Cobra brand of products. This radar/laser detector has followed up on that record. I have not had a chance to test this product very much so far. But it has been great so far. Shop around before buying.


Pros: Light weight, small size, good quality, and reasonable price.
Weaknesses: Haven’t noticed any drawbacks.
I would recommend this product over all. It’s a bargain! Compared to those hundred bucks laser detectors, Cobra ESD6060 has all the essential functions such as laser gun detection etc.


Pros: It’s small, compact and pretty.
Weaknesses: No weaknesses were found.
I’ve never had any problems with Cobra products. The name and pricing was the reason, I made the purchase and would buy another.

Not a good buy

Pros: Cheap and easy to install
Weaknesses: does not work as a radar but rather as a toy that locates automatic doors.
(Edited October 19th by Wise User) The Cobra ESD-6060 is Not good. It has horrible sensitivity on K and Ka band, beeps at all places where there is a automatic door , so you can locate a store with those door openers rather then a cop and those are what matter. The human eyes prove to be a much more effective tool at detecting cops than the Cobra ESD-6060.It is a cheap radar more of a toy then a radar and totally useless. Don waste your money on it.
