I bought a radar detector to avoid the "nothing better to do" police officers in my town. This detector has everything, it detects this and it detects that. OH and it even speaks to you. However, this thing does NOT work.

Ever since I paid the $119 bucks for this, I have recieved a $245 dollar speeding ticket, and my auto insurance has gone up a whopping 15%.

Let me tell you a little about this "awesome" %26lt;– joking peice of equipment. I was driving down the road, quite quickly actually. When all of a sudden, the radar detector yells, "WARNING X ALERT." Immediately I hit the brakes and looked all around.. Turns out, the radar detector didnt go off until the police officer was in plain view. So basically, the cop pulls me over, obviously gives me a hard time for having the stupid detector in the first place, I get a ticked for $245, my insurance skyrockets, and all this i got for only $119 dollars.

Take it from me, Dont buy the "Cobra 9200", heck, dont even but a cobra. But another brand. One more thing, dont spend the extra cash on the voice alert, its nothing annoying.
