The Best Cordless on the Market

If you have to have a cordless there really is no other choice. This is by far and away the best cordless detector on the market. Battery operation does create limitations. Reasonable battery life is caused by the unit continuously turning itself on and off for brief instants. During its brief down times, however, two things are NOT happening. It is not detecting RADAR/LIDAR and it is not scanning bands. For a constant on speed trap, probably no problem. For LIDAR, instant on RADAR or Ka band where a fairly wide frequency is being scanned, maybe not so good. The best corded detectors by Valentine-1, Escort (X-50) and Bel (RX65, STi Driver) will all out perform this unit, but I’d rather drive with this than a Cobra or Whistler product. If you must have cordless or you only drive 10MPH over the limit, this is an excellent choice.

Already saved me from 1 or 2 tickets. Not too noisy and few false alarms. Power consumption is good and automatically shuts off. If you drive a lot, its worth the money.
