I continue to be pleased with my Bel 946 Cordless. It provides a good amount of detection in front and behind me. Though it does give a good amount of false alarms. Then again i never use the city feature. I got this model Bel because my cigarette lighter isnt really in operating condition and i liked the idea of not having a curly cord hanging from my windshield down near the stickshift getting in my way.

I have only been pulled over once for a moving violation. The officer said i was going 50+ in a 40. *Note he said plus, not an exact speed.* My detector wasnt flipping out like it normally does whenever cops are nearby. I knew he was full of it. I was in a hurry and he only pulled me over for my quick turns and not-full stops. I didn’t get a ticket, and for that i am lucky, but so far, the detector has not failed me. I would reccomend it to anyone who would want to avoid the hassles of a corded radar detector. Although i have heard that they will detect better than cordless. Whatever, im happy and thats all that matters.
