I recently purchased this model since my Escort Passport was stolen. I admit that I purchased this one because of the price. It is not a bad unit but compared to the higher priced Escorts it does not even compare. It has worked to keep me from a ticket but it seems to give alot of false alarms. Especially the VG2 alert. Also, the voice alert can get annoying at times. It is easy to turn off tho. The only other problem I can see is that it is rather bulky and seems to be put together rather cheaply. Overall it is not a bad unit for the price, and it will help reduce those speeding tickets. I would recommend spending a little more for an Escort if you can afford it.
