I was in the market for a new radar detector when the one I owned started to misrepresent readings. I purchased a Fuzzbuster from Best Buy about 4 years ago. It cost me roughly $120.00. The reason I decided to purchase that radar detector was because it claimed it protected you 360 degrees around your vehicle.
